With regards to marriage, how can one tell if he or she is “crossing the line” and letting a friendship interfere with the vow of matrimony? Who sets these limits? What is the difference between a friendship and an emotional affair? Is an emotional affair wrong? Is an emotional affair a salve for a marriage that is, on the surface “on the rocks” by letting the partner release his/her emotions to another person of the opposite sex, emotions that would otherwise been discussed with the spouse? Or does it kill the marriage?
